AID WORKERS AND VOLUNTEERS USE FAST FIND
A huge number of people are working in danger zones and in very undeveloped parts of the world. Plenty of these areas don't have mobile phone networks and calling for help on a VHF radio could bring only limited resources of assistance.
If you have registered your Fast Find in the country you bought it in, usually your country of residence, you can be confident that the Search and Rescue services there will take care of verifying your call and locating you if you are in extreme danger. You can be located even more efficiently if you if notify your registering authority if you are going to be working in a remote zone for a period of time.
